We recently took part in the Life Festival, a big outreach event organised by the Medical School. We did an exhibit entitled "Our Microscopic Army Against Disease" and showed members of the public how we use zebrafish, drosophila and amoebae to understand the biology of white blood cells. The event took place at the Moor Markets and was a great success. We have made a website to accompany the exhibit with plenty of photos (and a timelapse!) of the event. Check out how much fun we had at: http://microarmy.weebly.com/
